Matt: Yup, it’s me again. The fact that you’re here again, at the ranting column proves that you can’t wait to get the latest installment of my grouses… haha.. ^_~

Anyway, surprised that the comics were updated on time? Well, I suppose that the only way to keep readers coming back is to at the very least honour my word, so there you go, #6 all for your viewing pleasure, or your displeasure- I am not responsible.

Friends had been encouraging… All I need is the constant reminders of ‘So fast given up already huh?’ and ‘ Why is your comic so damn slow?’ to get my act together. Well, I admit, I procrastinate like hell. I am lazy. I don’t plan my time. But hey~ you are going to tell me ya don’t submit to the vices once in a while? C’mon pals, chill out -_- Ya know, I still maintain the stand on it being hard juggling between school and Project ME. And it ain’t helping when Ed don’t go online as often as he does… But really, he’s not to blame. =P

Yes, I have received a few comments about the front pic girl: about her identity and stuff. Well currently, I am not telling. I am keeping things mum and official announcements about her identity will be out once the site is revamped, some time in the future… But don’t take my word for it. Ha! I mean, this picture beats having two dorks posing as the front pic right? Many thanks to Yongyang for his advice! Will the gal appear in the comic…? Maybe, maybe not.

To the keen eyes of regular readers, I had made some major adjustments to the speech bubbles, panels and dialogue font. I dunno about you, but I think it’s much neater than before. At the very least, it looks less amateurish… although it’s essentially the artwork and the plot that counts, blahblah… Yes, I had also upped the female appearances in the comic to make it more mainstream and un-sexist as possible.

I especially love this issue. Seeing Ed play hero to rescue a ‘damsel in distress’. Hey, such chances don’t come easy, you know. I mean, how often do you get to see an unconscious gal in a guy’s arm- in real life anyway? Surprisingly, when I was hard up for plot, it struck me when I was out for a mini-celebration . I even had the panels in mind and sketching was easy. But I left the actual drawing hanging far too long that the inspiration sorta weeded out… Even so, I am still glad at the way everything turns out to be.

Before I forgot, many thanks to Gab for linking his site to us. He has an awesome site-which is so meaningful- you ought to be ashamed if you don’t visit. ^_^ www.freeopendiary.com/entrylist.asp?authorcode=A677252

By the way, if you haven’t bookmark us, press Ctrl D to do so. Meanwhile, sit back, and keep your fingers crossed for the next comic and rants…

Ed: A few things to note:

1) The dorks Matt refers to in the previous pictures refer to himself =]

2) I cleared the bugs so juz stop bugging me with all the complaints.

3) No, I did NOT spike that gal's drinks.

4) DON'T CTRL-D on this page... do it on the main page or you'll be stuck reading our rants everytime you visit us.

5) Those people who don't have anything nice to say, please just find a pipe and shove it down your throat and it'll soothe the itch.

6) I'm looking for volunteers to give Matt a short course in HTML and FTP... this uploading crap is real boring.

7) Anyway, rarely do I run out of things to say so you'd better enjoy the break I'm giving you by not ranting.
