| Matt: Before all of you drive stakes through my heart, let me explain myself. I know I have delayed the comic for a whopping 4 weeks. I know I have disappoint those readers out there [ no matter how little] time and time again. I know I can’t really keep promises, or adhere to the weekly basis for comic “production”.
But I have tried. Maybe not my best, but I did try to deliver on time. However, my academic involvement forbid that, and it was a tough choice juggling both school work and Project Me. But believe me, I did try but it apparently was no good enough. Inevitably, I chose studies over the Project. Be fair to me, at least. A student of course must put his schoolwork as his priority. And it is not as if my grades in my faculty tests have not suffered either. The comic was late; my schoolwork suffered. Gimme a break, yea?
I believe most readers out there are students too, so I need not emphasize my point further. Try imagining yourself in my shoes. Don’t try to pretend to know what I am going through, ‘course you don’t. The very bare minimum is to at least sprinkle some empathy, instead of trying to tell me how I should do my stuff. [ I really don’t mind guest arts at this moment, you know, at least try drawing a comic is different from talking to draw a comic, yea?]
I am totally amazed that you actually put up with all my crap for so long, but that’s what rants are all about- to release some steam and crap…yada yada.
Okay, now back to the part about the delay. I am terribly sorry for those rooting for Project Me since its birth, in particular Allan. I knew I broke my promise. But really, trust me, delays are really inevitable. While I could not mitigate any consequences possibly caused, or promise a timely comic only to break my promise yet again, I could reassure you that I’ll try my best to get my act together. I have no idea when the next comic will be up, but that is all I could offer for now. Ed’s supposed to come up with the story for the next one, but I won’t keep my hopes too high if I were you…*lol* =Þ
See guys, all of us are too caught up in our own lives, that at times, we became totally encompassed and forgot the important [and maybe minor] details. Whilst trying to strike a balance between schoolwork and project work, I can’t help but to show bias towards either of them, depending on time and mood.
Sorry folks. =|
