| Matt: Sorry about this late rant… pretty busy these days, and besides I need to take a break from the site… to rejuvenate/ refresh/whatever-you-call-it myself. I don’t think it really matter whether there is one less rant? ^^;
Anyway, this issue of comic was in fact completed before schedule… the assigned deadline was monday. So, actually I completed two comics within the same week, but don’t keep your hopes too high. This is still formally, primarily a weekly comic. ^_^
Alas, time passes by quickly and school will reopen in another one and a half weeks. speaking of which, december is also the time of merry-making, enjoyment and giving and receiving presents. Have the christmas spirit rub off on you yet? ^_~ the cover girl u should already see by now is actually my idea of an angel- a snow angel. If ya look close enough, she’s holding a lighted candle, without a candleholder! *gasp* to speak truthfully, I wasn’t planning of drawing one, but somehow the image of one has ingrained too deep - complete with the entire idea of creating the “feel”- into my brain that i thought i needed to get it out of the system. and aren’t u glad that i did? it certainly brings more life to a comic page, eh?
Sorry, i have to admit my coloring skills suck. So that’s why u don’t see a 64-bit colored picture but a monochrome one with snows that are produced from airbrushes of different sizes. ¬_¬;
and just before i end my boring rant, some of my friends did complained that the characters, in particular Ed and I in the comic, don’t look like those in the banner. well... at least they look consistently the same in the comic strips… and the clever explanation i can think of is that the one in the banner is the “caricature” of our real selves, whilst the ones in the comic were merely representative portrayal… haha.
Hope u like the new adjustments and stuff that ed has put in hard work in do. Until next time, enjoy yourself! |
